Shipping Policy
1. General Shipping Terms
1.1. Shipping and delivery schedules are estimated based on production timelines and availability. While CRS strives to meet the estimated dates, delivery times are not guaranteed.
1.2. Expedited shipping is available upon request and may incur additional charges. Customers must coordinate expedited delivery with their CRS representative at the time of order placement.
2. Freight Responsibilities
2.1. CRS will arrange for the shipment of goods to the customer’s designated location. The customer is responsible for ensuring the site is prepared for delivery and offloading.
2.2. For material-only orders, freight often exceeds 4,000 lbs. The customer must provide appropriate equipment, such as a forklift, and sufficient labor (at least three workers) to assist in offloading.
3. Delivery Acceptance
3.1. Customers are required to inspect shipments immediately upon receipt and report any damage, shortages, or errors to CRS within two (2) calendar days.
3.2. Detention charges due to delays in accepting delivery will be billed to the customer and must be paid before the release of the freight from the warehouse.
4. Freight Holds
4.1. Freight cannot be held at the factory or terminal for more than two (2) calendar days. Delays in arranging delivery beyond this period may result in additional storage fees.
5. Offloading Requirements
5.1. The customer is responsible for offloading freight unless CRS installation services are included in the contract. If installation is provided, CRS will manage the offloading process.
6. Damage in Transit
6.1. If products are damaged during shipping, the customer must document the damage and notify CRS within two (2) calendar days of receipt. CRS will coordinate with the shipping provider to resolve the issue, which may include repair, replacement, or credit at CRS’s discretion.
7. Non-Guaranteed Delivery
7.1. Lead times and delivery dates provided by CRS are estimates only. Delays due to production, transportation, or unforeseen circumstances are not the responsibility of CRS.
7.2. Customers requiring a guaranteed delivery date must communicate this in writing during order placement and may be subject to additional charges.
8. Changes to Shipping Details
8.1. Changes to shipping destinations, methods, or schedules after order placement may result in additional fees and must be approved in writing by CRS.
9. Cancellation After Shipment
9.1. Orders canceled after shipment are non-refundable, and the customer remains responsible for full payment of the order and any return freight costs, if applicable.
10. Packaging and Handling
10.1. All products are packaged to minimize damage during transit. Minor scratches or scuffs may occur due to handling and are considered normal. CRS will provide touch-up paint upon request for minor cosmetic damage.
11. Site Readiness for Delivery
11.1. Customers must prepare the site for delivery and provide a clear, accessible location for unloading materials. If the site is not prepared upon delivery, additional fees for redelivery or storage may apply.
12. International Shipping
12.1. For international shipments, customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and fees associated with the import of goods. CRS will provide the necessary documentation to facilitate customs clearance.
