Jumping Pillows: Testimonials and Comments
From Owners:
Says John Trigg of Charlotte/Fort Mill KOA in South Carolina:
Q. What made you take the plunge and install a Jumping Pillow?
A. I saw the reaction of children and adults in Australia and knew it was a ‘Must Have’
Q. Tell us about your first weekend after installation
A. After the first day I had to reset the timer to 10pm and extend the playing time and the kids were waiting on the Sunday morning for the timer to start!
Q. What were some of the comments from campers?
A. They just loved it and commented that they knew where their kids were when they weren’t at the campsite. The Jumping Pillow has become a social center for the kids, when they are not jumping they are sitting around the edge talking and interacting.
Q. It’s big , colorful, safe, healthy, loads of fun etc, but was it a good business decision? Will you get a healthy return on investment?
A. We have people saying ‘We’ll be back’ and as word gets out it will begin to pay for itself. I expect that we’ll see a good return next season. As Mom and Dad are booking in the kids are running for the Jumping Pillow – that’s got to be a great indication!
Q. Would you recommend it to other KOA Kampgrounds?
A. I would recommend it to any and all campgrounds.
Says Jana Hubner of Lazy-j Campground in Ohio:

A. We felt we wanted to have something unique to attract new business.
Q. Tell us about your first weekend after installation
A. Our Pillow is visible from any location and as soon as campers pulled up the kids got out of the car and ran to the pillow, they were jumping before Mom and Dad had even registered. Not only did the kids love it but the Adults as well.
Q. What were some of the comments from campers?
A. I’ll answer this another way, we have a constant complaint from our campers, “Why isn’t the Jumping Pillow open longer? It should be 24 x 7, next we’ll have to put in lights I guess! Parents often comment on how well their kids slept.

Says Bill Jones of Madison KOA in PA:
In July our business was up 8% over ’05. The Pillow was operational on July 27th.
In August our business was up 25% over ’05. I think the pillow has something to do with this!!!!
From a Camper:
We were at Big Timber in Montana and stumbled on the jumping pillow. It was wonderful. I would definitely choose to camp at any campground with the jumping pillow. The pool at Big Timber was empty. Everyone was on the jumping pillow, including a lot of adults, and kids of every age. I watched for an hour. The other particular advantage for us was that our grandson is ADD, and often in conflict with his peer group over rules, dominence, etc. The jumping pillow provided him with a wonderful outlet for energy without aggression, and me with enjoyment ..watching…What a great idea for school playgrounds. From another Camper:
Could you please give us a list of other Campgrounds that have a Jumping Pillow? We saw it at the KOA in Wisconsin and the kids loved it. Fred Thompson. CO
